11+ Grammar School Entrance Exam Preparation
At Little Scholars, we cover all essential aspects of the 11+ curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive approach to Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics, English and creative writing skills.
We utilise a wide range of diverse resources to support and enhance learning, including carefully crafted, bespoke materials tailored to individual needs.
We structure our learning approach around Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE) exams, which are closely aligned with the format and style of the Heckmondwike Grammar School test.
Year 6 SATs English & Maths
We cover the entirety of the year 6 curriculum, ensuring thorough preparation in maths, reading and writing for all students.
At Little Scholars, we make use of past SATs papers alongside a broad range of materials, including our own uniquely designed resources to enhance learning.
Our sessions consist of no more than 4 students, carefully grouped with children working at similar ability levels who are studying the same topic for maximised focus and effectiveness.
Primary English & Maths
Our sessions are grouped by age and ability, focusing on the same topic for effective learning.
Each session includes no more than 4 children, ensuring personalised attention in a supportive environment.
We use engaging resources like laptops and specially designed materials for interactive, structured learning. For younger students, we provide concrete maths tools like cubes to make learning hands-on and fun.
At Little Scholars, we usually enrol children aged between 3 and 12 years; however, we do have experienced Maths, English and Science GCSE teachers who we work with, too.
